I began working with Family Life Care, Inc. three years ago. I began my career in health care in 1993 in Raleigh, NC and found the passion of my life serving the elderly and disabled. I have a master’s degree in Health Care Administration and Gerontology and I thank God for the opportunity He has given me to work with a wonderful company like Family Life Care.
Family Life Care is family owned and operated and began out of the necessity to care for their elderly father. He was one of the first clients. Twelve years later, Family Life Care is thriving and provides quality in-home health care services to people in 23 counties in north east Florida. Family Life Care has a reputation for going into rural areas that other agencies aren’t able to cover but we try to go where we are needed.
My position, Director of Client Relations was created in September 2012 when the “family” saw the need to provide better care for our clients, their families, health care providers, and our staff. One of the main goals Family Life Care has is to keep people in their homes for as long as possible by meeting their individual needs. We not only provide care to the elderly but for disabled young adults and children as well.
It is a wonderful feeling to be able to enhance the quality of an individual’s life and make a difference for the better. It is even a better feeling to work for a company that genuinely cares for the clients and staff and treats people the way they want to be treated!
